CURRICULUM VITAE

 

A/Prof. Yuefeng Li has made a significant contribution to the areas of Web Intelligence and Data mining and has been an active contributor to the development of these exciting research areas. He has demonstrable experience in leading large-scale research projects and has achieved many established research outcomes that have been published and highly cited in some tier A+ or tier A Journals (JMIS, TKDE, DSS, KBS and AAI) and tier A+ and A conferences (ICDM, CIKM, Web Intelligence, ICSMC and RSCTC).

 

A/Prof. Li has published over 100 refereed papers (including 29 journal papers). He is also a co-author of one book, and an editor of three books. He has supervised two PhD students and four Master by research students to successful completion. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence and an Associate Editor of the IEEE Intelligent Informatics Bulletin.

 

He has established a strong reputation internationally in the above fields. He has been invited to give a talk in the 1st International Workshop on Web Intelligence meets Brain Informatics, Beijing, 15-16 December, 2006. He has also been invited to be a co-chair of IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conferences on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology workshops (2007 and 2008). As the principal CI, he has been awarded an ARC Discovery grant in 2005. He also established productive research collaborations with international research teams in Web Mining, Data Mining and Ontology Learning.
