I am a Professor in the
Faculty of Information
Technology at
Queensland University of Technology
in Australia.
I am also Deputy Director of the Information
Security Institute here at QUT.
My particular research interests are in secure cryptographic protocols
though I also have an interest in many area of computer and communications security and
also in cryptographic algorithms. Find the latest crytpography news from
the IACR.
A great source for the latest news in computer security is
the electronic newsletter Cipher.
If you are looking for cryptography literature I recommend starting at
Helger Lipmaa's Cryptology
Pointers.
An incomplete list of my own publications is available.
If you are interested in security proofs for key establishment protocols you may like to refer to the Protocols Lounge maintained by ISI PhD student M. Choudary Gorantla (based on a previous lounge by Raymond Choo).
These are some forthcoming events I am associated with in some way.
In Semester 1, 2008 I am teaching ITB/N732. Unit materials are available on QUT Blackboard.
Students may email me at any time to make an appointment at a convenient time. You may also drop by if you are in the building; if I am free I will be pleased to talk to you.
